TRWA 2026

TRWA 2026 July 15-16, 2026 | Galveston, Texas

If you’re heading to Galveston this July for the Texas Rural Water Association’s Training & Technical Conference, I hope to see you there.

TRWA’s Training & Technical Conference 2026 takes place July 15-16 at the Tremont House Hotel in Galveston, Texas. It’s one of the most important gatherings for rural water and wastewater professionals across the state, bringing together operators, managers, engineers, and decision-makers to learn, network, and tackle the industry’s toughest challenges. Whether you’re dealing with aging infrastructure, staffing shortages, regulatory compliance, equipment reliability, or the constant pressure to do more with less, this conference is designed with you in mind.

I’ve spent my career in the field dealing with wells, water systems, and the problems that pop up when you’re not watching close enough. I know what it’s like to get a call at 2 AM because something broke, or to realize your tank is lower than it should be and you have no idea why. Most of the time, those emergencies were preventable. They happen because visibility into what’s actually happening at your site is limited. You’re managing blind, reacting to problems instead of preventing them.

Events like TRWA’s Training & Technical Conference are where this conversation is happening. More systems are recognizing that real-time visibility into tank levels, pump status, and system health changes everything. Instead of waiting for a problem to surface as an emergency, you spot it early and respond on your timeline. That’s the difference between firefighting and actual peace of mind.

While NightOwl won’t have an official booth this year, I’ll be on the ground in Galveston. We’re also connecting with Waterly, one of our partners in the remote monitoring space, and may have the opportunity to introduce you to their team and discuss how monitoring solutions fit into what you’re already doing.

If you’ll be attending and want to talk about the shift from reactive troubleshooting to proactive monitoring, I’d value the conversation. These talks are best in person, where I can understand what your operation looks like and what’s actually keeping you up at night.

Reach out to me on LinkedIn before the event. Tell me a bit about your operation, what you’re dealing with, and what’s on your radar. Let’s make sure we find time to sit down and talk about what proactive monitoring could mean for you.

Whether this is your first time at TRWA’s Training & Technical Conference or you’re a returning attendee, the event is a solid investment in staying current with industry trends and building relationships that matter. I’m looking forward to being part of that conversation in Galveston this summer.

See you in Galveston. Let’s talk about moving from firefighting to proactive monitoring and what that shift means for your operation.
