Protect Your Water System from Weather-Related Issues

Do you have water systems that freeze up in the winter? Do you have variable frequency drives that overheat in the summer? Imagine if you had an alert that informed you when your pump house was too hot or too cold. You would know if the heater quit working or if the exhaust fan wasn’t keeping your equipment cool. This simple notification could save your customer a bunch of money and a lot of headache.

The NightOwl Monitoring & Control System has a temperature and humidity sensor that can monitor the air temperature inside or outside your pump house. You (or your customer) can set up an alert in the dashboard to send an email or text notification when the temperature goes above or below a certain threshold so you can do something about the issue before major damage occurs.

The relay control is another neat feature of the NightOwl Monitoring & Control System. You can install a solenoid or motorized ball valve that can be remotely triggered to allow water to flow back into the well or water storage tank. You simply go to the dashboard and click a button to open the valve. When the freezing concerns are over, you turn it off. This will not only prevent freeze damage, it will make your customer very happy!
